Plus you act like they never responded to the all surface request.

Just because Uber hasn't made the special feature you would like for your unit, doesn't mean the game doesn't support modding.
    My rainbows disagree with you.

Especially considering the quote above which shows @jables has acknowledged our plea and has Told us it just probably won't happen.

That's a private message that I never knew about and unless you have more of those to pull out of a hat that's the only comment ever made on ANY of the two dozen or so requests made in that thread.

Frankly this is childish Cdrfk. Tell it like it is, a video contest nobody saw the result of and that didn't bypass the 8000 views throughout all winners? really? That's you're mod support?

I don't know if it's because I've played a lot of very moddable games, but the fact that PA downloads your mod when you join a modded match seems like a given.

such a given that if it wasn't given it would have signed PA's net halt.

I mean games these days that are trying to SHUT down mods, have crazier more fun mods than PA (think GTA V)

certain games these days are defined by and only popular because they ARE mods.

On PA we change some numbers in some slots and then change more numbers in more slots.

these numbers alter stats and colors, main menu ui layout, sometimes cancel out certain things from being loaded to enhance performance.

    F it I tried.

I'm not partaking in this, this is a wall we're facing here. A wall that uses the tools of truth deformation, venom, thread-pooping, liability redirection and the one I can put up the least with : playing at who's dumbest.

I mean look at this toomfoolery :

I deal with it as much as I can, I really always take the time to debate in full seriousness these mockeries of my efforts, but I'm out.

/S PA clearly already has way too many revamps and universe conversion mods anyways. Fith star-wars mod? we should stop modding there's too many mods. Where's the original PA underneath those heaps and heaps of layer's of mods, even? I can't even see if it's still PA we're playing or not. If I can dream it for PA, I can mod it for PA.... Ect. /S

This is a sad display of why Uber is often hesitant about making clear statements about the current state of things: People remember every word, probably even the exact intonation and then years later attack back if it did not work out exactly as Uber had planned.
Please realize that the devs at Uber are basically people who kinda like to make video games. Just like many of us they have some crazy ideas and hopes for their projects and it is hard not to talk about those hopes and wishes. Making out every single thing they say to be an absolute fact that has to be fulfilled by yesterday is very very unfair to their human nature. Developers do not have some sort of magic future vision that allows them to know how stuff will play out exactly.

If people could accept that dev statements are never absolute and are just the wishes of the devs themselves then we could have a much more open discussion.
Sadly this thread proves once again that we're not ready for that.

    /thread

    EDIT:
and now everybody cool down and be nice to each other, thanks @DeathByDenim for the idea
