I'm having a weirdly early-2000s angsty teen rock night. And Borderlands.
Damnit, Burnout, with your evil evil nostalgia

Dang, looks like pretty much everything on this page as well as the last one is blocked for me due to amazing german copyright laws.

Anyhow I'm currently listening to this:

Yes, I actually like it. Don't ask.

Aight, one last attempt to revive this thing:

Song that surely no one would ever make an acoustic version of:

Acoustic version (which beats the original imo):

So there is this little band out of Atlanta, GA (by now you know I love the scene for metal in the dirty A.T.L, lol) that has a KILLER vibe and groove all their own. Their female vocalist/bassist is freaking killer. She add so much dynamic with her voice alone. Pair that with sludged out classic rock riffs and it's pretty gnarly!

Here are two of my favs. I happen to find a live version of both from the same set. Royal Thunder truly kill it live!!

@teju__ This 2nd video is more up to your digging.

@DeadStretch Oh, welcome back :D Liked the second one better indeed, although both were pretty cool.

I'm currently listening to a swedish quake player and his mechanical keyboard (mostly to his keyboard :|).
Since this thread is about music, I'm gonna leave these here (the second one is quite different from my usual posts in here, but i really like it):

If this has vocals in it. >:l

Edit: It does have vocals, I'm sorry but personally vocals just ruin a lot of EDM for me, instrumentals would be better imo. ;P

that's a zhu track. removing the vocals would be a damn shame. personally for me it's the remix that sets me off.

    the original was perfect :

please don't commit an offense to the Norse gods and turn your damn bass up.

but here's your instrumental version anyways :

I don't want super bass, and blablah, it just feels like the majority of EDM (electric dance music) just doesn't sound good with vocals. The vocals sound weird and out of place for some reason.

The voice can be a wonderful instrument, even without dialogue (halo soundtrack is my love), but sometimes it just doesn't fit at all. Because the vocals in EDM are often awful and weird.

If I can find some Deadmau5 there was this particular track that had a vocal that was just so dang cringe worthy for me, but the instrumental behind was just wonderful.

I never said it *didnt* have an instrumental, I just said the instrumental was better. Because the vocals are cringeworthy. This maaaay be the one actually?

Just the the lyrics and the voice are so.. Weird.
