the 55 mb hotfix just now.... broke the uberlauncher.

my launcher now crashes 100% of the time after getting the small update downloaded...

I don't see a hotfix? (Linux though)
Maybe it got fixed already?

update to the launcher itself. on OSX it added an offline button, on windows though it just makes my launcher depr and tell me program is not working and closes itself out everytime

Same here. Launcher is broken. It downloads the update and then it redownloads the update. Its in a loop.. When i cancel the update and try to log in it says SSL Certificate problem error 14090086: SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE

launcher itself now crashes, I can confirm.

For anyone whose Windows Launcher is crashing, please uninstall the Launcher you have and reinstall from here: http://setup.uberent.com/PlanetaryAnnihilation_Setup.exe

I could also recover to the older version by going to wherever my uberlauncher.exe is located and rolling it back by renaming the uberlauncher.exe_old to uberlauncher.exe, deleting the newer one. Then the update went through and I now can run offline via the launcher as well.

Yup, the older Launcher will check for updates and download the latest Launcher. If you never encountered the Launcher crash, you should be fine as it will download the latest the next time you launch. But if you got the crash error, you'll need to uninstall/reinstall the Launcher.
And yup, there's a button on the Launcher to Play Offline now.
