Uber Launcher Could Not Extract Files

I was trying to launch the PA Launcher and I got the following error message: "Uber Launcher needs access to write Coherent support files. It was unable to extract some required files, and will now exit. Try restarting Uber Launcher". I already tried Restarting the Uber Launcher but still get the same message. How can i resolve this problem so I can continue playing PA?

Continue playing, so you mean to say it did work in the past? Could it be that your C drive is simply full?

Hi, the game has worked in the past with no problems at all. I was actually playing it yesterday. This morning I tried to launch and I got the error mentioned in this posting. I then freed up some more space on my computer and still got the error. Lastly I tried deleting the game and reinstalling it but the same error still occurred. I currently have 116 GB free out of 535 GB on my drive.

Well, that's odd. Maybe it's a permission problem then, though I am not sure why that would have started all of a sudden. In Windows, I think you can right-click on a .exe to get "Run as Administrator". Could you try that with the UberLauncher?

I have this same problem now. Running as admin did not work, and I have 10GB free on the drive, which is more than I had the last time I ran PA. It just started when I went to download the new patch (xx600 hotfix).

Could you try my alternative launcher? It may give error messages that could be helpful (or it may just work ).
