Disables the strategic missile launcher and defense buildings. I always liked this mod in supcom since I found missile defense to be a chore against the AI, so I decided to remake it here. While I posted it as WIP, I'd like some feedback for whether the mod works for other people or not or if there's some better way to do it. To use install via pamm "No Nukes". Note: This mod is probably incompatible with mods that alter the unit list, such as Boom Bot Only.
ahhhh yes finally..... damn I been waiting a long long time for this sort of feature. Will you be able to disable other stuff too? would love it if you could have this in the lobby for ease-of-use so you just do a quick enable/disable feature for it or for other things too like no orbital units (if you just want a more traditional game on 1 planet) or disable air (for just a massacre of ground units) that kind of thing. nice work!
OP hasn't logged in for a few months and the mod was really out of date so I went ahead and posted an updated version to PAMM. I think there was an attempt at some point to make a proper lobby disable system like supcom but I have no idea if that has made it anywhere.
Is this a lobby disable system? Well, not lobby, but options menu from main menu before starting a game? Because that is both possible and really nice if somebody made. Just not sure if this is that.
hmm, never knew about that, good to know. Still, this kills nukes for AI as well so I'll leave it up since no nukes is probably the biggest thing people will want to kill.
PLEASE HELP this mod broke my game no matter how hard i set the AI they keep building in tech 1 so no tanks or heacy troopers or nukes i tried deleting PAMM and the game itself i deleted all files and re installed planetary annihilation but it keeps bugging my battle :'( please help me its driving me crazy thx
I don't know how the mod could have broken, it's not exactly complex but I pushed a new version with the most recent unit_list so it should work. Make sure you are using the PAMM version and not the one attached in the OP
any news on getting a version of this to work with the AI? or is there going to be an upcoming option to disable nukes for Skirmish?
The "No Nukes" mod should still work fine for vanilla PA, in skirmish. If there is demand for it I can make a titans version. I'm not familiar enough with GW to do it for that.
