what I was thinking is factories that could produce 10 of the unit at a time. but here is a drawback it takes the same amount of economy but takes x30 times as long it would take x10 economy to build and it would work with all unit factories including unit cannons
It would have to take x30 times the cost of units, as PA has no time metric unlike TA and supcom build time is directly connected to cost.
Just one question: why? If it takes 30 times as long, you'd be much better off just building 1 at a time, 10 times, and be better off by a factor of 1/3 time spent
How about a cheaper factory that builds 10 bots max and gets destroyed when the dox are released? Get some bots up quick for raiding metal deposits, or a surprise attack with a low radar signature right outside your opponents base.
^ 1/3 cost advanced "factory" that only builds slammers sounds cool. It could be called "Bot Gantry" or something.
I remember back during alpha, there was a period where you could build multiple factories in the exact same location. If you did that, and selected all of them, they would build several units simultaneously, which would then march off in formation. It was pretty sweet.
It would be really cool if advanced factories would build 4 basic units at a time. Are they more energy efficient that regular factories?
