    2 bugs to report

first: In system editor, building the 12 planet caused a crash (all moon biome, 250 radius)
second; In a system with 10 planets (all moon, 250 radius), the start spot numbers when starting a game didn't show up, just a black box.

Probably this. You can check/change your timezone settings here: https://forums.uberent.com/account/preferences

Also guys, please edit your posts rather than multi-posting :)

Is there a way to make the game less laggy without turning down the resolution?

That depends on where your bottleneck is. You can use <Ctrl>+P inside the game to see the fps for the client, server and sim. You may want to continue this conversation in the Support subforum though as you are kind of hidden away in the discussion about the latest PTE here.

That depends on: What specs you have, what settings your trying to run at, what system your playing on, how many players and how good your internet connection is. Also what are you referring to by 'lag'...

For us to be able to help:

1: Play a game and when it gets laggy, press 'ctrl + p' together and that will bring up the performance monitor. First page is your machine, if the FPS there are low (less than about 30) then it could just be your machine struggling. Press again to look at server speed (should be 1.0 fps when normal), sim speed (should be 10fps normal, if this is at like 2fps then that will make game really slow, should be smooth enough down to about 5fps) and video memory (only useful for info).

2: Post details here on what type of lag it is from the above, and ideally include a 'dxdiag' so we can look at your system specs.

I use a 8GB Toshiba laptop and Intel HD 4000 I usually have around 35 FPS, internet is good, lags when there are a lot of units, or planets usually in a 3v3.

also how do I upload a DxDiag?

Press <WinKey>+R, type "dxdiag" and press "Save All Information...". Upload the resulting file on this forum.

Though I really suggest using the Support subforum for this.

By the way, keep pressing <ctrl>+P in the game to see the other stats.

Lag as in framerate issues are probably caused by your GPU. The intel HD4000 isn't that a powerful card, even mine has a hard time when viewing many units and I have a GTX 770 ;)

Lovely :) Still not sure about this 'mine layer' visibility thing but giving skitters vision for it has reduced my panic somewhat. I appreciate that Uber seem to be trying to make the combat fabber a useful thing, and that's all well and good. Although not sure about the treeconomy thing!

It was a fun time playing with combat fabbers. 1500 energy/s is quite a lot for what they do. How can we remove trees now?

I would love it if the wall could only be built by fabbers and combat fabbers (ie not the commander). One of the hardest things to deal with is a commander sat behind a near impenetrable wall, building more wall and being able to shoot your land, sea and air units at the same time as all that. He can just wander to a random area of the map and make walls whenever anything that isn't a rival ACU comes close and instantly take a huge amount of map control. Just makes him too strong as a one man army imo.

At least make him bring a fabber with him, a fabber (who can be targeted down if he gets too far up)
