Version 1.0 of Naval Trails has been released. now works with CPLosion and Xplosion This mod was created by @dom314 , @Alpha2546 , and I, @KillerKiwiJuice Make your naval units look like real boats with this mod! This adds natural looking waves and particles to navy ships like they are sailing on a real ocean rather than a texture. The navy trails are unique for almost every unit, but this will be even more prominent with upcoming updates. Pics! The stingray has some steam! Submarines have bubbles! This mod is technically a WIP but it is mostly done so it was released. This mod is glorious. I think the white bits might be a bit too insane-bright-white, and the sub swirly bits kind of point upwards out of the water too much (maybe "too much" because planet size was quite small in my test?).
Hmm I thought I fixed the sub trail going out of the water. Gonna check that along with the subs bubbles going above sea level. Not good for making pictures . Was fun making it though. To be honest I didn't do much on this mod yet I learned a lot ( Thanks genius @dom314 ) and Kiwi had some really cool ideas. Cool stuff.\ ohyeah it is compatible with Plosion mods. Something went wrong with updating on pamm. Works now though.
This is one of those mods that's so simple, fits in so perfectly, and enhances the look of the game that you feel it really should be absorbed into the base game.
Okay, so what is the state of this mod @stuart98? I kinda want to redefine this mod using my patch system so that I can at least update it easily if the balance ever changes. Effectively, I will be taking over the responsibility of maintaining this mod with respect to the balance changes that may take place. This will however make it slightly cryptic for the others to change it if they intend to do so.
I suggest making a separate repo for your scripts while keeping the actual mod set up as I have it now so that you can continue to use the github release function to release updates to PAMM.
