    anything more than 2v2 ranked will make custom games go away, the player base is not big enough for all of these things.

    get like a pool of 10000 competitive players first then we may could talk about it ... but right now anything higher then 2v2 you would either play against the same guys over and over or you would have half an hour long waittimes ... have fun ...

    I would very much like there to be team ladders, as I mostly play team games, and I'm sure my friends and I would play some ranked if we could. However, it's true that maybe we don't have enough players. I would be interested to see the stats on how many people play team games vs how many play 1v1, because I feel like PA is really strong as a team game, more so than for 1v1.

    The question is more like "how many players do play with premates" and not whether the playerbase is big enough...
    ...this can just be examined by testing 2v2 ranked!
    It won´t, because Ranked doesn´t allow you to select your own systems and due to this custom games remain super important!

    I don't know, I think the playerbase might increase a bit if they implemented 2v2 and 3v3 matchmaking. I like PA but I play mostly singleplayer and won't touch ranked until team's are implemented. I'm not too fond of looking around for a custom game all the time. I just want to jump into a match quickly with 2 or 3 friends, hopefully against players of similar skill. It's also harder to get my friends in on the game when it isn't there. =P

    I'm not saying making 2v2 or 3v3 matchmaking will get a sudden flood of new players, but more people would jump on it and become more active since 1v1 is too stressfull for most people.
