That reviews still makes laugh. The best bullshit I've ever readed.

Too bad that people use that info to buy or not buy the game.

I sort of agree, the 3d planets are lifeless and boring. It's hard to have interesting features and strategy on such small planets. It's a great concept, but not executed very well.

That is only because the randomly generated were maps did not have enough terrain variety. If they released the game in the state that it is in now, with a lot of premade systems, the game would have done much better in the reviews.

Even now it's not much better though. Playing Galatic War every system is the same from the last one. The planets are all the same boring randomized terrain. The map design still needs a lot of polish and work.

Just shows how shitty IGN is (not you igncom)

I would be fine if IGN got hacked and went out of business.

GW is the part that is left out so far yeah. Though @jables hinted that they know that and are thinking about improvements for the future.

Thank you for bringing up this piece of crap and making me depressed again.

Honestly uber should have requested a re review as this was utter bull. The game did not deserve a score like this even back then.

I actually think most of the review is spot on. I think the issue is uber should have not released the game when they did. It still plays like it's in alpha. I don't care with navigating and managing multiple planets being hard though. I thought that part of the review is silly.

There are some great concepts in this game (why I bother to provide feedback) but they are poorly executed and often half finished (Galactic War).

I think Uber should request re-reviews all across the gaming journalism board after a year or so from the date of release argueing that the game has changed substatially and that the reviews are all inaccurate.

you clearly didn't play the alpha, but I'm intrigued as to why you think it still plays like a alpha?

i seriously don't give a damn of how lifeless planets are what matters is that they are ballanced allow various strategies/rushes/spam/however you wanna call it and that the battles are fun ...

Yeeaah, as @Bsport said, you clearly didn't play the alpha. I've been here since the beginning and in its current state the game is definitely not alpha.

Yeah we do not have flying ships anymore. Or endless stacks of air factories. Or "select enemy commander and press delete"-tactics. Or "gentlemen rules: let's only build mex on mex spots, because they game allows them to be build anywhere"-games. Or ... oh well you get the picture.

the game is alpha because the planets dont have crysis 3 level of quality in looks and farcry 3 flora and fauna ...
