    I personally run

    Gold: Rate of Fire
    Silver: Armour
    Bronze: Skill Recovery

You can swap these round in anyway and still do fine.

Rate of fire Gold or Silver really helps out the rail gun as it is damn slow without it.
Armour isn't vital as the tanks passive 3 helps him a lot. I know some people don't play him with armour at all but I always have it silver or gold.
Skill recovery can be put anywhere really. It's needed to spam your product grenade at bots and pros, and having your charge up fast is always nice.

Other endorsements such as accuracy, speed and reload speed can also be used. I wouldn't put accuracy anywhere higher than silver, speed is really just for fun so anywhere will do and reload speed in bronze is enough.

    Hope this helps.

I have been enjoying health regen/rate of fire/skill, though it puts a higher importance on getting your passives, you can get your health up to max within a second with deploy 2, which can be really goddamn handy.

The Tank offers a lot of flexibility in endorsement setups. The most common one is probably RoF/Armour/Skill. It makes the railgun a beast, allows you to survive OHKOs like headshots and backstabs and allows you to use your superb skills often.

Feel free to experiment with tank setups. The only endorsements you really should steer clear off, are juice and crits IMO. And reload is nice, but I don't value it too highly because DB spam only gets you so far and doesn't build juice at all. Speed is very good on a tank, but keep in mind that you can get it from picking up those speed items during the match as well. So if you don't die often, you should be able to run around often with gold speed anyway.

Picked those as well, even though I have ROF on silver and armor on Gold... might try it the other way around eventually though. At least as soon as assassins stop trying to grapple me XD

I think I played with you yesterday Arth, you were doing pretty well as tank.

Like most of the others that have posted in this thread have stated, ROF is pretty much a needed gold, since you are already armored like a tank (no pun intended) and don't need gold armor, then it comes down to preference based on what you play like.

That build would be okay I guess. RoF silver and armour bronze might be a bit better.

Gold Armor always helps, I prefer the extra padding just in case I get ambushed or distracted. Silver rate of fire is fine, you still do a ton of damage with the rail cannon and jet gun with it. Bronze for me is either Skill or Reload but as someone else said, death blossom only gets you so far.

Well, Akutare isn't my in-game name, the one in my sig is.

Gold ROF really helps out the Jet gun and Rail gun, but if you feel Tank is too slow, that endorsement setup could work for you. But like someone else said, speed pickups drop a lot, so it is somewhat of a wasted slot.

is bronze armor enough to save me from a back grapple then ?
or shouldn't i be bothered to care due to the fact that im good at detecting/countering the "humming noise"

Armour bronze with level 3 passive should yes. I think. I'll test it soon.

I think Passive level 3 is enough to survive any backstab, without armor.

You need Silver or Gold Armour with full Passive to survive a back grapple.

Of course, if you're aware of your surroundings and pay attention you can avoid most situations that result in a grapple. Deploy + using jetpack is hilariously fun.

I personally run Speed/Armor/Skill. I'm more of an assault Tank so I don't often need the Rail Gun, and the extra speed helps me to chase everyone down with the Jet Gun after I pick up some upgrades. The only thing I have problems with are RoF Tanks, but grappling them away is always easy with my superior maneuverability.

I run [ Gold speed | Silver Armor | Bronze RoF ] with good success.

Speed gives me more killing power, survivability, and moneymaking ability than anything else could. Sure a few speed pickups will get you to gold, but that really only applies if things are already going well for you. I prefer to plan for when the going is tough.

It never hurts to have a gold armor build to start the match off with until you get your level 3 passive, and then swap to your offensive build. Gold armor + tank passive gives you insane amounts of health, but swapping armor for killing power is a more viable option for the tank than it is for other classes.

Actually speed pick ups are pretty damn common if you keep consistently killing bots. Each pick up counts as an endorsement upgrade (3 = gold) and that is why you see good assassins moving around like a blur. You can't get any other endorsement on the battlefield, and really as the tank your jet pack + charge ability are your two best means of mobility. Even with gold speed you are one of the slowest classes. In actual pro vs pro combat you should barely be on the ground.

Edit : To clarify, I'm not saying gold speed is worthless, but from my personal experience other endorsements scale better with the tank if you abuse his ability based mobility.
