How is your honor being affected? That's what youve been basing your arguement on afterall, just look at all your posts concerning it

Do you know what you are saying? You are telling me that someone who wants the game will not buy it just because it isn't on Steam - even though not buying it from Steam is the better idea anyways.

Eh? I bought PA through Steam, linked my Uber account with the Steam account and installed PA with the PA launcher. Almost never launched it through Steam.

Uber's honor is being affected, not mine.

And you still bought it through Steam? Why not just directly buy it from Uber if launching from Steam was never your goal?

No, I'm not telling you that. I'm telling you that someone who would have bought the game won't buy it because they won't have heard about it.

you seem to have misinterpreted my words - selling the game through Steam is reputation-damaging, considering PA's launch damaged Uber's reputation enough, they don't need it hurt more.

I'm not a fan of steam, the amount of time I've wasted trying to save peoples games and saves when I've acted as tech support is not funny (early days of steam). That said, it just means I don't use steam. You say it's a better idea not to buy on steam, and that's your opinion. It is not fact. Many people just don't care about your reasons.

    Easily?

Because I got a Steam gift card for Christmas and PA was on sale.

Steam makes a damned good effort to promote new releases on its platform. However, kickstarter projects have to rely on either A, their own ability to properly advertise their product (many fail at this & either get abandoned, or go with B) or B, they go to a third party publisher (ie steam) to hopefully get advertised well enough. I don't follow kickstarter since for the most part, I can't do anything with those games anyways.

No, not easily. I saw the game on day 1 of the kickstarter and I can't say I was looking for it.

Or 3, websites that offer reviews of new games - which there happens to be a lot of. The game was hailed as the new TA before the campaign even ended.

No, you happened to be lucky, sorry to burst your bubble, but UBER actually was having problems trying to get the game to sell because they didn't advertise far enough due to how much that would have cost

OH? Take a big look at that $2 million figure on the kickstarter page.

Why am I still talking to you? You don't even make an attempt to be reasonable whatsoever, you just want to shove your agenda done someone's throat, & won't take no for an answer
