If you buy it through Steam, it has to be activated and downloaded through Steam, which is a detriment to the misguided individuals who bought the game from Steam.

Your use of honor taints the word itself. Your time & money are wasted of your own accord, not steams.

    Arguement officially, invalid

pfft, Steam hurts Uber more than helping - they take a sizable cut of those profits too, profits that would have been ALL Uber's had they just not sold through Steam.

A profit that wouldn't have been theirs at all had they not sold through steam. DON'T YOU GET IT? PEOPLE WHO BUY THROUGH STEAM WHEN THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS ONLY BUY PC GAMES FROM STEAM

    1. lol that's ridiculous, even though I get my 10% employee discount from Amazon, I do not buy all my games from Amazon, no reason to be loyal to 1 seller just for the lulz.
    2. if there are people who only buy through Steam, a retarded community isn't exactly one that's desirable, be damned the money.

Definition 1. It is honorable to not use a disgusting DRM service to sell your game, especially after it was marketed on the principle of DRM free - even if it is not necessary to buy the game through said service.

They have, but not significantly, and if the game hadn't been sold through Steam, those sales would have gone directly to Uber.

My point stands - you have DEMONSTRATED that this is the type of community that isn't exactly desirable to have.
