Build 77337-pte now up

    Commanders still get stuck in stuff. Currently watching Yaegz with his commander stuck in an air factory. Not an air factory he got stuck in while building, he simply retreated from some Booms and got stuck in it.

    just got no spawn zones on meso with 3 players

    after 2 minutes it hangs on "Game starts in 1 seconds" and chat breaks

    oh well it just happened again.
    Guess we probably can make it happen again. Will check.

    zones are empty. PA was running with no mods here.

    Also after the countdown starts no more server_state data is posted after it reaches the Game starts in : 1 point, even if I reload the UI

    I'm sorta a noob with the debugger, but it looks like there's a syntax error on line 73 in building_planets.html and another on line 73 in live_game.html when the timer was stuck on 1 after 2 minutes.

    Of course they could be completely normal.

    That was not the bug I saw. The bug I saw had no js errors client side. My guess is something goes wrong in the server, so it sends an empty array for the zones. The client then proceeds to show "all" 0 zones. Once the time hits 2 minutes the server probably tries to do something like "take a random spawn out of these 0 zones" and gets a js error. After that even chatting does not work anymore, due to the server js being broken down.

    Don't know if any one said it yet but path finding on large metal planet I was playing on last night was atrocious. 50% of my units were getting stuck behind walls and such when ordered to travel to the other side of the planet.

    Could the next PTE focus on pathing? Naval pathing in particular is TERRIBLE.

    The amount of times I've ordered a fleet to somewhere, and they just power into an island as if they want to go through it, and then do nothing, is quite annoying.

    Units do seem to have issues getting around factories. They just rub against them until eventually they slip past.

    @masterofroflness had a wonderful example of this in his youtube stream lately.

    At 7:40 min the team commander steps through a teleporter and runs directly into a bot factory, starting to run in circles, after that the game starts lagging. I would suspect that at this point the path planning never stopped and endlessly tried to calculate a path for this commander. Oh well, after all they are stupid robots.

    i cant even finish one game -_- always getting game crash or server disconnection or suddenly i cant click anything... this is really annoying... the stable build works just fine so i wonder why this problems are back... well i just hope they'll get fixed in the next build.

    Is orbital fabbers ability to construct any basic ground structure new? I really like it. Makes invasions from orbit much more fun, rather than just trying to get a teleporter down. That said, it would be really cool if they constructed ground buildings in orbit, and then they fell down with a nifty effect and did some damage on impact.

    Any mods? Does it still happen with them all disabled?

    If it still happens, you've found a bug and reproduction steps would be appreciated.
