On AI skirmish your supose to have all tech. I have the steam digital deluxe version got on the sale. Anyway i have watched videos. I am just confused i dont even see an air factory,radar. All the combat fab does is lays mines. There are more buildings i dont see to build. I build the basic factories then advanced. All there fabs dont show everything. Which fab builds air factory the basic fab and commander right?
In galactic war you only get a few techs to start with. In normal skirmishing you have the following commander > can build air, land, t1 fabbers > build air, land, orb, and the own t2 factory ( t1 bot build t2 bot factory, t1 vehicle fabber build t2 vehicle factory).
thanks for quick reply. I have played both. ON AI skirmish the commander don't have air none of the fabbers do. Also on main menu theres no tutorial but that would not help me. However there is a guide with little vids that don't tell me what i already know. Hmm well i guess i just might have to do w/o planes. Perhaps i will try a re install. I do have latest GPU drivers to. Steam just did a little update i have not tried after. It went through a 1st time launch again but i did not play yet. Another thing the capchita on this forum is no fun.
Could you make a quick print screen of it? Cause that really shouldn't be possible. You having any mods installed? Are you running it with steam? If so could you validate the local files. Does it also happen when you create an own custom game and manually put in an AI?
Are you sure that you don't have a specific tab selected? I suggest leaving it on the all tab and selecting from there. The commander is very limited, it only has access to factories, eco amd some basic defense, the fabbers will have access to all the other stuff related to them.
Yep I got mods it was the Boom bot mod that removes buildings I uninstalled it and got my buildings back. Yes I am running on steam. You are not allowed to use more than 0 non-whitelisted link(s) in your post as a new user, 2 non-whitelisted link(s) were found. I got this error when pasting the link from photo bucket.
I think the point of the boom bot wars mod is to remove most things you normally can build. So you need to disable the mod to play the normal game.
It wont let me post the IMG code from photo bucket. Anyway I removed boom bot wars and got the normal game back.
