I will always be a supporter of big massive mechs/tanks and walkers.
Make a poll IN the game client when you start PA.

I would be suprised to see most people be against a couple mega-units.

It's not the idea, but the implementation.

    Big units are fine.

    that's such a good idea.

would kill the bias once and for all.

    The forum bias?

I mean, we are well aware that the majority of people really do like experimentals.

Whats not to like about awesome killy bots, especially if you prefer commanding individual units over macro armys.

But that doesn't mean people can't dislike them either.

Otherwise you get into a situation where the two groups have to be wary about admitting what side they are on in a majority one way or another area.

    :p

But yeah, T2 really, really could use some of these, micro friendly units, if not simply for diversity.

Personally I hate the idea of having to deal with blizzard rts types of micro regarding spells and the like, but some people really do love it.

    nope.

the bias (both sides) on ideas such as

    "people play singleplayer/multiplayer more"
    "the majority hate/love experimentals"
"the majority hate/love the idea of some form of shield"
"the majority enjoy/dislike the low hp of units"

    ...stuff like that.
haha.really is that an established fact for you then?

seriously this is THE high horse topic of the forum. You suggest it, you get an instant rain of hate.
yeah that's exactly what I mean.

people are getting in a mass movement frenzy and just following the direction of the tide. said tide being decided by the way things randomly play out on the forum. (said person was tired that one day, said other was absent, said other was very vocal, said other was not).

I hate it when people don't think for themselves and I've never seen as much of that as since joining this forum.

Well... I seem to have created a forum bias argument. :(

    People don't think for themselves?

Im not sure that is right.

But I do get what you mean about generalisations.

Still, you have inferred that a vote between pro experimentals, and no experimentals would favour the pro experimentals.

I am inclined to belive it.

Because otherwise, most of your post has confused me.

i'm inclined to believe it as well except we're few in this case in the vocal majority (yes I just coined this expression)

can we just rely on mods for these types of things? I like how this started out as a discussion about a new com and now ppl are talking about experimental units.

Anyway, a hovering com would be the coolest.
