Hotfix build 76557 is live - Unit Cannon Update!

    To be honest. I betted that the update would be delayed till friday... I'll go buy some commanders.

    Well done! I can finally add in some custom spawn spots which I really like a lot! Thanks for these christmas presents :D

    You should not have grammatical errors like "Energy and Metal resources gets consumed while building" in a released game. There are sections which are ambiguous and could lead to new players getting the wrong idea and being frustrated. For example, "Control click any unit to put that unit in the top of the build queue" implies that a factory with continuous build will keep the ctrl+clicked unit in the build queue, which is won't. There are also (potentially small) bad practices implied by the player guide, like building separate energy plants with separate fabbers instead of building one set of energy plants with a group of fabbers, and using storage to collect resources when they should probably be being spent.

    I think that the points I have raised are serious enough to overall make the addition of the guide a negative addition to the game. With only a few tweaks, it could be good, so I hope it gets updated based on the feedback in that thread very soon.

    There are 4 new commanders, but they won't be available in the armory.

    Community asks for help for new players.
    Uber implements the first version of a guide.

    Control + left click a unit to make the factory produce a single one of that unit before continuing with the rest of the build queue.

    I was frustrated because there was a thread started over a week ago asking for feedback on the WIP version of the guide, but that feedback hasn't been used and the dodgy "test" version has been put in the game. I hoped that my strong language would encourage changes and put it high up on Ubers priority list.

    Congratz Uber for this sooo expected update! I was not playing lately, but im surely going back now!

    User Guide is a beautiful addition and as everything in this game until now, it'll be improved. Now i have recovered all my reliance in Uber's work.

    While checking out, discovered a stupid PIP trick - if your cursor is on the PIP at game start, it gets focused to commander, leaving main view as you had it.

    Umbrella beams are crazy (should make this a .gif but too lazy).

    No-team units floating above the surface of a planet. I believe this was caused by the player who these units belonged to getting killed just before the drop pods land.
