Ever come into a game or someone needed a hand?

Post and share your stories today.

Today me and dadale ended up saving dan snipes from an organized beat down.

For some odd reason the second we joined the game it was already against us.

2 supports in the middle.. a blood thirsty assault.. 1 sneaky assassin sitting by our bot spawn watching us leave every minute (lazor razor), and a gunner who always appeared after killing the assault.

They all ganged up on snipes ... feedle dropped the minigun and cleared the wave... dale destroyed and breached the defences. It looked good for the underdogs. All of the sudden all hell broke lose. That sneaky assassin got our ball down and no one was left to defend it.. Bloodshed was spillled... a comeback was in order.

Snipes set up the front lines and escorted me into the war. One after anothers either the gunner would die and the assault would finish the kill.

We made another run for the attack... motars couldn't destroy the passive bots.. it took a few gap shots from the snipes to break it in.

Soon enough dale breached the ball and hell arose!

Juice flew though the veins of snipes hurt/heal gun and bam... RAGE WAS SERVED

People dropped out of the game like flies... soon enough the team destined to lose had won!

    Dan snipes is the man!

    1) That was a very well told story.

    2) I did this twice on friday. One game joined as an assault on ammo mule and slowly but surely pushed the other team out of our spawn and (pretty much) single handedly walked our bots into their base. Juice after juice of killing their turrets while trying to keep them out of mine. I finally won the game.

    3) Next game I got kicked because of host b.s. blah blah blah. So I joined another game, mid game of course, and decided that my team was lacking a support. I then proceeded to turtle the hell out of the rest of game and got 3.3 rockets in our base the other team had no assassin so I wasn't worried about losing them. Overtime kicked in because my team lacked any sense of offense, even though they were all tanks, gunners, and assaults. I defended my base until my team realized that shooting the other teams money ball won the game.

Its amazing how sometimes a team just needs that hole filled. I joined a match today, on and noticed the team needed a support. Our team was down about several minutes in. I set up a level 3 rocket and shave ice along with my firebase. The other team kept coming right at me and falling one after another juiced. Apparently, that was enough for the rest of my team to push into their base because they were so focused on breaking my defense, they forgot about everyone else. It went to overtime, and they all juice rushed our base, but tried to kill me instead of my turrets, plus I was the only one who stayed back to defend. It was epic crowd control, and we ended up winning at the last second. It was a photo finish. I wish every match could be so exciting!!

Very rarely do you get randoms who know what they are doing vs organized groups.
Chances are if its even 3 in a party/friends list then they have communication on their side which kills people who spend 30 seconds picking a skill or blocking the enterence taunting or something dumb.

I have had waaaaaayyyyyy too many games where a team needed a sniper where I joined, played sniper, and won them a few games.

Being a good support can save the day. Happens all the time.

A decent Support or Tank are the best at fighting the way out of a sticky situation. I've been trying my best to do this recently - I believe I may have done it against three members of a certain team...

    Agreed.

I joined a game in progress today with the intent on playing Sniper. I walked out of the spawn room to find the ball had just fallen and the enemy team was flooding our base. I immediately jumped off the edge, chose Support and glued myself to our Gunner. He pushed the enemy back far enough for us to regroup and get our shields back up. I threw down a firebase and pushed bots back. Within 1 minute, the enemy ball was down and I had a Juiced shotgun ready. We took that match within 25 seconds of their ball dropping.

    This story has 2 points:
    1. I saved the day! Yay me!
    2. And this.

I feel like a repairman or custodian whenever I come in and turn a game around. Feels amazing. Also, plug that thread. Good idea.
