I'd really suggest a self-destruct button in the main menu for ranked games. This is third player who just disconnected when it became clear he was losing...
Yeah Basically do this for the leave game button: if (ranked game) {api.select.commander(); api.whatever.killSelectedUnit();} else {normal stuff} So a player cannot leave the game. Instead they surrender and get the score screen and then can leave or watch the chronocam replay. The real implementation might need to take care of the fact that api.select.commander() is asynchronous
I'd say: if (ranked game && (return to main menu button || quit game button)) {ask for selfdestuct commander} else {normal stuff} So that you can restart the game if there are mod problems or that graphical glitch etc
I already did all this work on Wednesday (last week) and yesterday, it should be shipping soon to PTE.
I was able to reproduce the problem. It looks like there are still some problems with some of the projection types used on the metal planet. I am working on fixing a number of system editor problems, thanks for the bug description.
Impact crater artefact. Never saw this in previous builds. Again my replay list is empty so can't provide the ID or better images.
I need more information to try to fix this: Was this a custom planet? Are you using client or server mods? If this was your planet, could you export the planet and post the file?
There were no mods on server or client. I was not the host nor do I have no copy of the system. Do you devs not have better tools to search for the replay (you can see most of the players listed)? Sorry I can't be more help. @vasyaq can you provide the system/replay-ID?
This is more than likely because the person you played is watching chronocam, which means game is still open. If you saw a win/loss screen before leaving, you will not receive another win or loss for that game.
Thanks for replying; it would be an improvement if the game would not ask to rejoin once battle ended. It is misleading, probably not just for me.
I have found a fix for the lack of listed replays, so you can now see for yourself replay ID: 17319947360234107586. It's still visible in the current (75740) release.
Huh, it started working for me too and I didn't do the Alt+Enter thing. They may have just fixed it on Uber's side. I do have to do the Alt+Enter thing always after every game because of the --software-ui induced black screen after each game, but I've never done that while in the Replay screen. Also, the "My Replays"-thing never worked for me until today. Last I checked was two-three days ago, I think.
Why is it that there's no save option? I keep putting this game aside for a month or two hoping that one is put in. Takes hours and hours to finish a game and I don't have that kind of time. What gives?
