How do I quit??

So I lose a game in FFA and decide to spectate for a bit. How do I quit the match without having to quit to desktop?? It takes a while to load matches - connect to PlayFab quickly, then a couple of minutes to see any games in lobby.

there should just be a "main menu" button when you press "esc".

they've changed that now to a surrender button but takes a while before returning to main menu.

Actually you have to press on surrender - the game sees the spectator the same as a player in this game. And after that you can press main menu button

loool altho i just tested this in pte, clicking surrender then yes nothing happens.

tested 4p ffa vs 3 ai entered spec mode after deleting my com, clicked surrender then yes and it dose not kick to main menu @jables

Surrender is supposed to take you to the "You've been annihilated" screen. This allows the person to spectate if game is still going, or chronocam to learn why they lost. You will need to click "go to main menu" to go to main menu.

As spectator there is no "return to main menu":

Clicking Surrender tries to delete a non existing commander and then returns to the main menu.
It probably should be renamed and not try to delete the commander if the player is dead/spectating from the start.

I think we should make a gallery thread of colas ms paint skills. He has had some classics.

I do not use ms paint for that, but a program called Hyperdesktop.

Results are the same though, it's just much faster, as it means like 2 clicks to go from making a partial screenshot to posting a link here.
