JeeSports MNC PC - 6v6 Ladder Season #1 Begins

As per my previous post - the ladder is now opened.

Follow the quick guide to create your clan and team(s) then head to http://www.jeesports.com/ladders/ladder ... Season_1-1 and sign-up for the ladder.

Any question, ask here, on the news page or on JeeSports forum and I will respond.

Few people said they could help.
Please let yourself know below. And let me know how you want to help (news editor, ladder/tournament referee, etc...).
The starting point is to spread the word and get as many teams registered as we can.

The nice thing with JeeSports and JeeLounge is that everything is automated from clan and teams management to match reporting etc...
Recruiting players and looking for a clan is made easy via a dedicated ad posting and search tool.
i will post more about that in another thread.

Remember that a clan is not the same as a team.
with your JeeLouneg clan you can create several teams and sign up each teams to events. Please read this: JeeLounge Clan & Teams

So, are there any rules yet? Is this something you're still working on or....? Seems kind of silly to open registration without any rules. Also, whats the point of having to make a clan and then a team? Wouldn't it be easier/more straightforward to just make a team in the league/ladder?

Is this EU or NA? Please don't say both, because there is no way that will work with scheduling. Most NA teams play around 10 est which is like 6 am over there and most EU teams play around 2 cst which I'm sure nobody can play over here.

Anyway, the site looks nice, and its good to see people already taking the initiative and making stuff rather than sitting there and telling someone else to do it. Looks like it has some potential, and I like the 2 day cup idea. If you can get enough teams that are dedicated enough to make it happen.

The relationship Clan / Teams increase flexibility.
A clan is a higher "organisation". There can be several teams within a clan.
these teams could be playing the same of dirrent game.
The benefit of having that structure is that it keeps everything under thesame umbrella.

Regarding the rules, i have set some high level one based on the feedbacks i had so far.
These rules are on the tournament page.

regarding NA / EU split i was hoping that the tournament being over 2 days during the weekend teams would find a suitable time to catch up.

this is the kind of thing that is quite flexible. my suggestion is to see how many teams join, from what region they are. And if there are enough to make two tournaments instead of one then that's a "easy" change.

Is there any 'additional' rule that you would like to see added?

I was speaking more for the ladder/league than the cup, but separate ladders for NA and EU would be good. Even if it means killing one scene, I still think it would be better since you're going to get a lot of forfeits if you make EU teams play NA teams, I remember there was a lot of trouble getting matches scheduled when dignitas tried to play in NA for tf2. And they were even playing for decent money, so I really doubt you're going to be able to get casual teams to schedule matches in the middle of the day.

As for rules how about
-class limits?
-round time?
-juice buying on or off?
-Overtime on or off?
-How are matches getting scheduled?
-How are maps being determined?
-Class limits?
-Default match time/day?
-How many rounds are in a match? 1 or best of 3?

Are teams capped at 6 players or can you have more in case people can't make one weekend?
(I know at least 3 who would love to participate but can't make this weekend)

I would hope so. Personally, I'm planning on having an 8-10 man roster and then whoever shows up gets to play.

it is recommended to have larger teams for exactly the reason you guys are mentioning. when playing you can then set your roster.

I'm still out on this though. It seems better to split for EU and NA. If you can find a way to not favour one, I'd be glad to hear it.

The biggest problem I have is the time that it'll be on. I do want to be able to play in tournaments, even if I would do horrible, I would at least be able to compete in it.
