Using the stable channel via uber launcher, running build 75740, subcoms just build like one mex and stand there or simply stand there. They will return fire. Steam doesn't keep up with the new updates it would seem regardless of beta channel being chosen or not. Had to use the launcher to get it to update to pte or stable. Also switching back and forth causes the launcher to redownload about a gig of data. :/ Makes testing pretty hard. Yay for DRM. Guess I'll stick with PTE once it's down downloading again.
I'm a bit confused though. As far as I know, Steam and the Uber Launcher use different locations for the PA install. The Uber Launcher even has different locations of the PTE and stable. So with the Uber Launcher, switching back and forth between stable and PTE shouldn't result in redownloading of data. Likewise, switching back and forth between the Uber Launcher and Steam shouldn't either. I don't know about switching between PTE and stable from within Steam though. It that what you meant?
After being defeated and selecting spectate, the surrender button is still available in the escape menu leaving no way to return to the menu.
The naval pathing is pretty janky, boats can't seem to handle area patrol at all, they just seize up. also, those scout boats have an odd firing ark, trying to shoot Bolos on a coast was impossible, as the shots flew right over, also, those scout boats need a bit more health or damage or something, they may as well not be armed at this rate since they die instantly and can't even scratch a tank.
I'm not sure if bug fixes to naval are on the agenda, but the current PTE in testing has a ton of love for naval balance so maybe this is the start of naval being a first class citizen.
