Ok I've owned this game for all of 2 days now, and the loading times are beyond ridiculous. I don't have the best rig in the world, but definitely not the worst. It doesn't seem to be a GPU problem. In all seriousness it just seems like the game doesn't want to load ANYTHING. I start the game, get an invite from a friend to play, click "accept" and the game literally doesn't do anything for ~5 minutes? Just sits there playing music. Then I finally get to "Login Accepted" and wait another ~3 minutes. After loading in I sit in the lobby screen "orbiting" (loading) for another ~2-3 minutes for the game to download. I am using the SA launcher and running EVGA graphics on an AMD CPU with more than the recommended RAM.
Don't want so sound like a broken record, but can you please upload your DxDiag? and post it. It just might be an update driver issue.. (or maybe not) Try looking at this link
The game does tend to be randomly slow for some reason when being invited, and yeah, please upload your DxDiag here to see if it's somehow a hardware problem (probably not)
Are your drivers up to date? I have faster loading times with 4GB of RAM and a HD 3000 GPU, haha! Edit: Basically, DxDiag.txt?

you're supposed to upload it as an attachment not paste it. anyways the 570 is a little skimpy. try turning graphics to mid or minimum preset, see how it runs.
@BrokenGQ Your drivers are almost two years old (ish) I'd really suggest a driver update, I know it might seem insignificant, but that can really have a performance hit with PA. If problems persist then I'd suggest contacting Uber support. @mkrater ?
I have a way worse card. GT 450. I don't have the problems you have. It has to be on your side. Are you using a wan or lan. Make sure drivers are updated and cpu is updated. My loads are fast.
Speed in lobby as described probably is mostly about: network speed for joining cpu speed for loading the planet the graphics card is bored until you actually play
Update your graphics driver it is very out of date. Your DxDiag text shows this driver release date : Driver Date/Size: 2/25/2013 23:32:38, 18055184 bytes The minimum requirement for the game to function correctly is an nVidia driver newer than 12/14/2013 (newer than driver version 331.82) http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/79891/en-us <--- Link to latest driver for your graphics card
