Hello everyone. I wanted to post a brief idea I had. The Tutorial teaches the basic. It can't teach the online maps, how players play and all that good stuff. I am suggesting a way for new players to get trained without a lot of deaths on their locker room stats. I think some sort of no score Crossfire would be excellent (or something like it). Even though it's purpose is training it can also be fun for people who want to try and relax and not be competitive. What do you all think?
I approve. It would be a good idea to teach some of finer points in the game. Most of it is easy once you're aware of it... but only once you're aware of it.
This was one of the few flaws that my favorite game reviewers pointed out about MNC. It needs a more comprehensive tutorial. Not everybody knows how to spawn bots or buy juice.
It needs to be everything.. Learning how to buy bots, juice and stuff. I will use myself as an example. It takes players awhile to know where I set up my MG and how to counter it. PvP is one of those things a tutorial can't teach you. That is why I proposed the no score idea. Learning PvP is higher on the priority list then Juice or Bots. Some servers don't allow Juice Buying making it useless. Atleast that is what I have learned from my experiences.
A short tutorial that's opposite of blitz where your goal is to destroy the moneyball would be nice for the new players. Push lanes, destroy turrets, spawn bots, etc..
Yes. I imagine this: Crossfire mode Labels. Everywhere. Big, bright labels floating over the juice stations, bot spawners, annihilator, ejectors, jumppads, and maybe even the turret nubs. Transparent->increase opacity as you get close. They would show the button you have set to activate. If you think the labels are annoying, it's because you already know what they mean- congratulations! move on to some real matches! Much larger money pool to begin with? No scoring kept?
I don't think people need to be told to build turrets - just which turrets to build, and which to not build (read: Blazers). The meta-game and tactics are what are important. Assassins aren't invisible warriors, so don't just charge about expecting people to fall over and die from your presence. What weapons build Juice faster, are effective against Turrets and the 'ball. Don't deploy in open spaces.
