The timing of the sale is quite good, or better uber's update came out right on time. With the 1vs1 and the leaderboard in place we will get quite some new players along. Also the response in the steam forum seems pretty positive, too.

Just played a few ranked matches and had no queue time at all.

I'm buying a lotto ticket today and if I win I will buy 1 million copies and give them all away for free making it f2p and donating a huge some to uber but my chances of winning lotto are like 0.00000000001%

Probably more likely to die of a heart attack then win lotto even though I'm 19

Actually at this price I would encourage players to buy another copy (1 PA copy vs 2 commanders) and gift it to someone. This brings new blood into the game and opens up the possibility of many more commander purchases for uber down the line. Not saying you should buy coms, I also do, but the best thing for the game right now is spread the game itself to more people.

I'm tempted to arrange like a PA secret santa. Like we could all pledge to buy 1 copy and gift it for xmas, or something like that.

I don't think we should open that can of worms again.

If I ever won the lottery, I would honestly do the same. I would offer Uber a joint publishing as an actual moneymaking venture. The rest I would likely save/donate. It doesn't take a lot of money to do a lot of things honestly. Besides starting a publisher for promising indie developments, and savings and donation, I would continue to live with a cheap motorbike out of an apartment/trailer and go to work 5 days a week. Fun enough a life as is...

And it is made even better by the idea that you really don't need the money because you have enough. You just work for the hell of it.

Why's there such a large discount in Russia?

Cause most russian people could not buy any games at all otherwise. So it's better to sell them cheap, since the cost of creating another copy of PA on a digital distribution platform is close to 0.

Because Steam prices and discounts, based on regional pricing policy.

Maybe I should go and make Steam think I live in Russia?
