There is, but only because if I said no it would be anword without any meaning. Cheese just means a strategy that is simple and fairly easy to counter if the opponent sees it in time. It leaves you at a disadvantage if it fails.

Cheese isn't bad and in some cases it is even the best move. I don't think it should be looked at as negatively as people usually think.

Cheese is kinda subjective, but I don't think there is really any cheese in the current balance. Even the Orbital Fabber Rush is just.....not cheesy. In some cases it could make sense.

I think the most salient factor of cheese is that it sets up an unfair situation. It can be countered in advance, but once it's in place, it is exceedingly difficult (if not improbable) to outplay. Cheese strategies are then cheesy because they routinely defeat amateur, inexperienced, or inattentive players because they become aware of it too late to do anything about it.

The classic example would be tower rushing. (PA's equivalent, once upon a time, was pelter rushing.)
Another example might be bomber snipes.

Something unexpected, not neccessarily putting you behind. Rushing is something that you do to reach a target situation as quickly as possible, regardless of the financial state you are left in. In SC2, the terms are used pretty much synonymously, which is kinda wrong =/ A late game bomber snipe is about the closest i can get to an example.

Kinda like how OP means 'any unit or item with easily identifiable utility, thus making them a common sight'?
