What game would you make with the PA engine?

    Some sort of Don't Starve or Rust like survival game, but multiplayer and on multiple planets.

    Yer the "Spring RTS - Kernal Panic" will most likely be my first real mod/total conversion for PA,
    but that's when im finished making some new biomes and planet templates for PA as i'll need to make some new graphics for the planet texturing and new brushes that are more squared to suit the squarish tron look that suits the kernal panic style..

    The first picture? Mechwarrior, super great mech combat/ sim game

    Second picture? A Zaku from Gundam, assuming he means to either do a mech sim game, or an RTS, both of which would be epic.

    (that zaku's a command type, I think this pic is from battle of Loum? probably one of the tri-stars piloting it, Gaia probably.)

    didn't know the second one (first picture actualy says the title already ... and i realy hate my phone)

    but if i were to make a more mobile mechgame i rather would combine battletech with frontmission ...
    and make 3 games out of it
    a (s)imulation/fp(s)
    a tactical game ala mechcommander
    and a turnbased game

    both have a high level of costomisation

    Something like Sins of a Solar Empire would be great, except within a solar system not a galaxy. Using the PA orbital mechanics (rather than just having static locations for each node), time would be a factor when launching an attack - when the targeted planet is nearby you strike. Building infrastructure on the planets and zooming in could be a more compelling experience than it is in SOASE.

    Also the mention of simearth was good- someone doing that properly would be excellent.

    A better version of Civilization Beyond Earth that actually feels like it's own game instead of just being an update/total conversion mod of Civ 5. Possibly involve multiple planets and make good use of some of the capabilities of the PA engine (Destroyable Terrain etc).

    If anything, the next big jump would be the made a mod where the gameplay is entirely focused on orbital and possibly a little air play.

    Where most of your stuff is in orbit, and ground based stuff is support, in contrast to vanilla where orbital is support to ground play.
