    Nothing happens when you leave, given orders are executed and the game keeps running until your commander dies.
    It is possible to reconnect to a game, that would be impossible if the commander dies when leaving a game :)

    This. If I can, I try to see the game through until my opponent has actually won, I.E he/she's KO'd my Gambitfa. This one time, I let this guy siege up on an annihilaser due to indecision about how to go about winning. He began shooting every planet in the system. What did I do? Astreaus Deep-struck my commander onto the annihilaser but his bombers got me a minute later.

    I queue a large number of orbital movement commands (at different locations) for my commander holding Astraeus and then quit. Isn't that what everyone does?
