My friend has spoken very highly of PA, so I picked it up recently. However, when I tried to play the Galactic War to get warmed up in single player, I keep getting the "Connection to server failed" message when trying to fight an enemy commander. Here's my bug report with all the details: PA#4196 I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions to get it going. Thanks.
When I was messing with it the next day, I think I found a workaround by changing to a different server region in the top-level settings, saving, then switching it back to US and saving. I then made sure NOT to save in the Galactic War settings screen. I've left the defect open, as it seems like an issue that needs fixed in the Galactic War settings menu, but at least I'm able to play now.
