    I have one serious question:

Why did you introduce ChronoCam and massive abilities to SAVE games IF
    YOU NEVER USE THEM?

Did it even come to your mind that if you do not have complete Orbital Tech
systems with more than one Planet is completely unfightable?

You cannot even take your tail and go back,
and you cannot Save Game and play another day.

I hate to say it but IT SUCKS,
and as an open Game which is supposed to give players choices how to play
    IT REALLY SUCKS ***!

Funny how people expect to have EVERYTHING released all at once when a feature is introduced :\

Well, if you have done anything wrong or is about to die, you can "cheat" defeat by pressing alt+F4. You won't die and you can restart the system fight. Also players seem to be able to do it even with almost to no orbital technology, and sometimes you will have to resort to superweapons

My current campaign I've taken over all systems without faction leaders. I still don't have Orbital Tech, too scared! My common strategy is to load up a ton of Astraeus with Spinners and dump them and have them patrol a small circle. Any Air units the AI has usually fly over and get wiped out, then I immediately drop 2-3 Adv Fabbers and crank out a teleporter, radar and umbrella and then start shoring up the other defences while my army pours in. It's fun to an extent, but it's getting a bit mono-strategy at this point.

Ummmmm.... I don't think "completely" means what you think it means.

It ain't as much fun, but it certainly isn't "unfightable".

I've won Galactic War without any advanced or even basic orbital tech. But then, nukes and mass landings help a lot. ;)

because you don't have to deal with limited techs.

    also the AI is better.

    also people.

also your own custom systems, spawn mechanics and team setup choices.

mostly people. We've seen top-tier players giving newbies a rundown worth good money for free.

Yeah, expecting features to actually work like promised, especially after release ... who would do that? Certainly only impatient, entitled people.

I'm a sucker for meaningless unlocks and achievements. Also RTS against people scares the crap out of me for reasons I can't fathom.

The restricted tech tree choices are what ruined galactic war the most. Otherwise... its honestly quite nice.....

If it wasn't limited there'd be no incentive to fight anyone other than the faction leaders so every encounter you have to find the leaders is meaningless.

could have had stock loadouts and then given various bonuses.....but I guess you're right you either need a story or one hand tied behind your back..... still Galactic War still felt (as it is now)..... sorta underwhelming....

You can't save mid battle, but you can save the war. If you don't have the time to complete a full battle, then don't do it?

i rather think they should have made a researchtree of sorts ... you start out with your basic loadout
and as you travel or conquer new planets you gain techpoints that you can invest into a techtree between matches ...
and the buffcollectibles are simply extra ...
i would wish the same for galactic war multiplayer
