[REL] eXodus eSports

Today we are happy to announce the new eXodus eSports mod for Planetary Annihilation! With this release, we are giving you a new way to stay up to date on the latest news, events, videos and guides from eXodus eSports.

Added a countdown when there is an event less than two days away!

Looks good. I have a bug report, sometimes the second in the countdown is behind the exodus banner:

It seems to jump there sometimes when a new minute is hit, it does also jump back sometimes when a new minute ticks by. It probably needs a little more horizontal space.

Thanks for letting me know. That's an easy fix but I probably won't get to it until after this tournament. Luckily the whole countdown should disappear once it hits 0 so the problem will just go away for a while.

Just noticed something while testing the mod, though it's not related to the mod itself, but more exodus website :

The yellow highlight makes the user thinks (that' me right here ) that the whole "cell" is clickable.
Yet, the link is on the text only (which in above case is extremely short).
Any way to fix this little usability issue ?

It's probably something to do with the HTML, if you pastebin.org the code somewhere I'll have a look.

I can fix that in the mod for sure. It's up to proeleert and bsport to do the web side I guess.

Good mod. Have to say, i didnt like the art style befor on the website, but inside the PA mainmenu i like it a lot.

Minor big fixes along with a fix for the date being backwards (I had 11/10/2014 instead of 10/11/2014).

I still need to fix the display bug on the countdown, but I have some time on that one as there isn't an event until at least this weekend.

Wait, we're using an American date system? Withdrawing ALL the likes!

How do I close the browser windows? I can't see any buttons anywhere

There should be tabs in the uber bar next to the irc chat. Try disabling the optimise user tag map button (just a guess), does that work?

If there are supposed to be tabs down there then i'll see which mod is causing the conflict when i get home from work - i have quite a few installed.

My guess just from looking at that screenshot is user tag map.

I use the Optimise User Tag Map mod and it doesn't interfere with this mod for me.

I disabled and then re-enabled all mods and I can now see the tabs at the bottom - strange... oh well it works

There was a bug with the minutes column in the countdown, which should be fixed now. I still don't have a fix for the people seeing the seconds bump down to the next line.

I just removed the seconds entirely. The seconds add a sense of urgency, but I end up just staring at the timer
