5x economy trolls could easily be contained by displaying any modifier openly in the game for all opponents to realize they are playing against a troll. Then players would realize they are not crap just playing against a person who needs to humiliate to feel good.
It already is shown: If that number's anything other than one, your opponent's pulling something on you.
Yes, it is shown, but it is easy to overlook. Maybe there should be a light up color indicator? If one player's economy is greater than the others, then that economy modifier could be bright red or something.

I thought there was a bug where the host sometimes is the only one that can see the modifier if no one else is in lobby...
I second this, AND I believe it could be a player UI clientside mod. It would be amazing for 1.0 to be grey, 1.1+ to be increasing shades of green, 0.9- to be increasing shades of red.
What kinda is weird is that the metal extractors and energy buildings don't show the economic multiplier value. I wish it did.
True it is sometime hard to notice they changed the ratio. I once met someone change it to 2 and I didn't realized it until I looked the records on Pa stats the next day.
