    • Multiple Windows
    • Reclaimable wreckage
    • "Advanced Modding features Create new units, gametypes, maps and planet archetypes. Run your own servers with your own sets of units and game modes."
    All taken directly from the kickstarter page confirmed features, within "The Full Description".

    As far as I know, "fun" is simply 'the feeling of enjoyment'. Nothing attached, no descriptions or specifics. Just.. enjoyment. Enjoyment is different for everyone, but if someone is not enjoying something then that thing, whatever it may be, is not fun by definition. That's a static no matter who you're talking about.

    In this respect, 'enjoyment' is concrete. Anything past the core definition is up for debate. ..which is why noone here can ever agree on what's "fun". :p

    The last one is in as well, the first isnt.

    Statera, RCBM, that better orbital mod, etc... All add units. Then the boombot mod is a gamemode, and I'm working on another gamemode like mod now.

    Really waiting on asteroid fields and the unit cannon. I hope they are still planning to implement those.

    I think we will be seeing the asteroid fields much sooner than we think, I remember the devs mentioning they had done quite a bit of work on it. Was a few months ago, not finding a source now, sorry :) I may be mis-remembering but I am pretty sure I am right

    Nice list! I agree Naval needs love, so ignoring the definition of fun, good to see it on the list.

    Good to see a dev say something about Naval. I hope it's being worked on heavily, along with 40 player games, asteroids, and pretty much everything else on the list :)

    40 player games are possible right now through a bit of server code changes, as we can host servers now. :p

    I think Cola's going a tad bit overboard on what he needs, considering we did that 40 player game back in Beta. I'd imagine all you'd need is 16 Gb of RAM and an i5.

    Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem that intensive. :p

    Going just by the kickstarter, this is what is there/missing:
    Core Game:
    AI Skirmish - Check
    Multiplayer - Check
    Interplanetary Warfare and Planet Smashing - Check
    Procedural Maps - Check
    40+ battles - Checked. If you got the hardware for it ;)
    LAN Games - Checked
    DRM Free - Checked
    Saving (implied Feature) - not checked
    Huge Planets - not checked (might be hardware dependant; propably more a client side problem)

    Did I miss anything here?

    Core - Server modding support:
    Gamemodes - not checked
    Units - checked
    Maps - not sure
    Planet Archetypes - not sure what that even means.

    Naval unit and Water planets strechgoal:
    Naval - yes. Needs balancing and propably submarines
    Water Planets - just a normal planet with water and really low land/high water level. Due to lack of subs no special archetype nessesary yet.

    Gas Giant & Orbital Strechtgoal:
    Gas Giant - check
    Orbital - check. Needs some new units, especially multi unit transporter for invasions.

    Metal & Lava Planet strechgoal:
    Metal Planet - check. Inlcuding Anni Laser.
    Lava Planet - check

    Galactic War Stretchgoal:
    Procedural Meta Map - check
    Single Player - checked
    Co-op - not checked; propably depended on local server
    Clan Wars GW - not checked
    Dynamic Story with counter attacks and special mission - not checked

    Orchestral Soundtrack:
    Check

    I personally see it not as "not finished".
    More as "the best is yet to come".

    Upload and Mapsize (RAM for server and client) are propably the biggest issue here. Upload is based on Nr. of Players/Spectators, not number of parties.
    Server CPU's go into the 32 Cores. Per CPU. I think PA can use quite a few of those ;)
