    The problem is that the AI seems to have degraded with the release patch. It used to send hundreds of units at you at Absurd difficulty, now everything I ever get is 20 units at max.

    I'm no expert, but I can repeat parrot-fashion the phrase "The AI is a slave to pathfinding". Given we've just had a massive pathfinding overhaul, I feel that Sorian may have a bit of catch-up to do?

    Just played a few Relentless/Absurd AI 1v1 games, here's some feedback:

    • Sorian AI for FA built massive armies. If this happened in PA I predict an awesome level of over 9000.
    • AI seems to leave its Commander in the middle of its (rather small) base either assisting factories or doing nothing. Should expand and make better use of the Commander.
    • AI seems to have some sort of freaky turret obsession. It covers its base with them for some reason.

    Otherwise, great job so far, Sorian :D

    Turreted bases are harder to assault, but without proper wall use they tend to fall rather quickly, even with factory's to tank for them.

    This is crucial. But teaching the A.I. how to use walls effectively is... tough, to say the least, I'd imagine. It's all about responding to and shaping the terrain intelligently; no amount of AI army composition and nuke direction can handle that, at least not yet.

    At the very least, encircling important buildings and turrets could be the easiest way to get the AI using walls.

    Walls are actually quite legit, and work wonders even in a open battlefield.

    Just try building some walls in front of your tanks and watch the enemy disappear!

    Back in beta the ai would put some walls around their turrets, it looked effective to me
