    Well this is joyous news, thanks Uber! Now to pledge for HR.

    I'm still holding out until we see some sort of communication about the state of the game, the dev team and road map before I turn it up to 11 though.

    So if we can host a server Lan style couldn't we use game ranger to set up online "lan" games? Not super excited for this to split the community but might allow for stronger servers. Would be an interesting mod to show both types in the pa lobby...

    It looks like either the release of PA server was deliberated saved for boosting the kickstarter, or it is rushed for the kickstarter and would be badly optimized.

    I don't think you can optimize an offline server poorly. Besides, as far as we know, this has been in the works for almost 3 months, so not much chance of it being unpolished (we can hope).

    We're not actually getting the actual server code... Just yet, but we can host games offline.

    The difference being you can't play with other people without the server.

    Also: Some people will never be happy.
