Calm down!!!

In general in life, I am skeptical, especially when a company has a vested interest in the financial success of their product. So, "Trust me" comments do not do it for me. So, I will continue to be critical and give them dirty looks.

Until they show otherwise, I say they are full of it because I believe the devs have no intention of finishing important gameplay options (Unit Cannon, Multiunit Orbital Transport, Naval).

MNC 360 development was plagued with issues related to Microsoft largely not Uber's fault. MNC was abandoned on PC in particular. The game was complete but they promised to deliver map maker, etc. Similar to what happened with the delivery of PA (no offline, no unit cannon, naval borked, no multi unit transport, etc.). When MNC was "abandoned" (I lack a better word) they stated they were upgrading it to a new version of the UE. This turned into a much larger project that eventually became SMNC.

Reportedly due to a screw up during SMNC's beta they basically launched it to the masses and it was stillborn. During this time period they launched the PA KS while repeatedly stating SMNC was doing fine, they'd have separate teams, and keep doing updates. So they bailed on SMNC while it was still in Beta for all intents and purposes. While it was not a financially viable product and it made sense to move onto other ventures my personal issue is that they mislead the player base with the information they presented. Even resulting in some backing PA for the sole purpose of supporting further SMNC development.

My concern is that the same thing will occur to PA once the HR KS is backed as what happened to SMNC. Hence, while I will happily buy Uber's finished products if they appeal to me I have no desire to invest in their games prior to completion.

Absolutely, I will never give Uber another dollar of my money, their track record says it all.
