Proof that the unit cannon is coming...

Your a bit late to the party mate, the wreckage has been on many planets for a while now. It looks really cool. Anyway the Unit cannon idea was never abandoned, just postponed until after 1.0, so yes, it is coming: SOMEDAY®.

I know just first time seeing it thought it was pretty cool.

That's been in the game for a while, and there have been a lot of threads "discovering" the unit cannon wreck. It's just the model from the ks trailer, not really indicative of them working on it.

And as for the author of this thread, I'm gonna leave this here and hope you catch what I mean.

This is the OP's first post on the forum, one guy saying thanks for sharing but we know it exists would have sufficed. I know it seems to be an in-joke with the regulars and is not malicious but if you take an objective first-time-on-the-boards look at some of the comments and pictures following the OP's post it is not the warmest welcome a newcomer could receive and hardly encourages them to post again and become a member of the community. Well, I probably shouldn't even post this but that is my sensitive opinion anyway. Welcome to the boards iuvius1, glad you are enjoying the game.

People really ought to use the search function before posting something they think is that new. Then they would realise it is far from new:

It shows a certain amount of arrogance to come here asuming you found something totally new. Especially in a game that was played by a community since Alpha.
And people who are that arrogant and lacking in the L2Search Button department really have thier shame earned. It would not be nice to deny it to them after they went out of thier way to earn it

It was just a friendly inside joke, no intention of mocking. There have already been many threads on this so it's like the equivalent of another shield thread, only it doesn't bring up huge firey debates, haha.

What's wrong with a little joke when it's not intended to hurt or belittle anyone? Maybe the aftermath could have deserved a bit of a "no, but serioualy", but it wasn't meant to be anything rude or mean.
