I cant seem to login anymore... Even reset me password and everything... It just keeps saying my username or password are incorrect... This has something to do with the ubernet servers going mad or?
I hope they get these bugs out. So far this has been like pulling teeth. I like the game when it works. I give it a month and then I may start mentioning the game in a negative light when I do interviews. I know many customers are faceless but I tour in a band, and wanted to play this game with my mates on our down time. I do not like getting ripped off and lied to however. Uberent get this stuff working! I like the game, but so far I think your corporate culture is more like Comcast then SOE. I have already told 5 people I know not to buy the game . . . yet. That may change to ...ever. That's all well and fine though, because we still play Total Annihilation on the bus and have many mod units and maps for it. That's another thing...no offline play! We wont be able to play this on the bus over our wifi network anyway. Had I known that I would have never bought it in the first place. Uber says "its coming," but they can't even keep the log in working so I have doubts. Cavedog. Now there was a company.
The game should not have been released early, i think we both agree on that. I'm positive all the bugs will be sorted out, i mean this game is massive, there's lots of room for errors. Btw, i'm not even aware of this bug, I've never heard of it before.
Ironic, because a couple big members of Cavedog are a part of Uber ^^; Anyway, offline is coming, and personally I've never had a log on issue, at least not that I remember. I use the steam version at times though as it automatically logs you in and it keeps you progress. (I like to keep track of how many hours I've totally not wasted on games <3) Please contact Uber's support and try to get this sorted out: http://support.uberent.com/
I don't see how so? If Uber went the publisher route the game may not even exist, or maybe be much more limited as that's kinda what publishers do.
when I say "issue", I really mean topic of discussion or what we should be thinking about rather than problem.
