EDIT: I just want to add that the Dropbox issue only affects Google Chrome. It works perfectly fine on Firefox.

For some reason this planet kept getting this green fog effect each time I tried to take a screenshot, and only on this planet. Need to investigate that, but still, was pleased with the shot

That's a bugged area command (Patrol in this case I believe). Sometimes the area command highlight stays after the command. F5 might fix it, or it might be permanent. Not sure.

OMG!! Beautifull!! What mods do you use? Darker nights & custom skybox?

I too would like to know

Winning shots should:
a) have an explosion in them
b) have the sun or another planet in view
c) have tons of units fighting

Yes to both of those, plus a host of others I've been trying out etc (I've also done some requests). Really need to go through and sort my mods out actually, since something's removed my ability to build teleporters ...

The ones that would alter screenshots are Hide Fog of War and various Team X Color (where X is Uber Cannon, Lathe, Commander Explosion, Build).

These are good.

That satisfying blue pillar of light which tells you that you have found the commander.

Is that a nuke area attack order? Didn't realise that was in. Epic.

Looks like a virus.

Interplanetary nuke area attack. And the nukes happened to enter the atmosphere precisely on the opposite side of the planet.

If you'd missed with that, I'd have had to suggest you quit playing!!

Love the lighting effects in this game!


And just to give an idea of the awesome firepower of the annihilaser ...

.. the rubble in the top left is the still dissipating moon from the first screenshot!

Some more screenshots from a recent game on a new custom system (it's called Fire & Ice - shared via the System Sharing mod [which could really do with a search function!]). It was a 3v3 (red/orange/yellow vs blue/violet/purple).

The system's 2 starting planets revolving around a gas giant; each has 2 moons, and there's a metal planet as well (so gas giant, lava starter with 2 moons, ice starter with 2 moons, metal).

I take screenshots sometimes.
