Really does. I'd personally really appreciate it if we could stop using it on these forums. I don't want to word police it, but it really is not a good term to overuse.
Does this happen every time you load a replay? What is the replay id (you can paste it from the replay list if you double click on the text and hit CTRL+C ). Are you using UI mods?
Something from steam: Apparently the Support commander sometimes tries to haley something into the planet where the players commander is on: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/0/616187839200276797/?tscn=1410491622 In a related note, I had the support commanders Commander stay on a planet I was equipping with haleys. And he continued to stay there even after I starteted the haley. Forgot to get the replay ID for this one. A possible third bug: In a AI game Me+Hard AI vs 2x Hard AI both AI's build one haley each on the planet that needed 2. If I remmber right you need X-haleys under your personal command to haley the planet. So it could be that AI was thinking "job is finished" because there where 2 friendly haleys on it, when it actually needed two personal haleys.
The lawys of physics area already grown up and capable of giving thier consent. They did give it to these mountains, as they did to several in real life: Spoiler That kinda leaves the crater being filled to the brim with water. And that is a understandable programmin shortcut, till they have time to implement proper fluid dynamics/ocean level that adapts to craters (if that is even a goal). I jsut wanted to tell again that there is this UI bug still in: Klicking on a certain set of Noticifactions (most noteably enemy spoted) can sometimes get you cetner your view into a grey/cyan/dull blue void. Some reports say camera shortcuts can get you out, but hitting a group button twice does not seem to work. It can be fixed by hiting F5 to reload the UI. While it can be fixed it is one of the most heavily mentioned on steam and it does affect multiplayer quite a bit. And it is mistaken with the black screen bug caused by overlays quite often. So I jsut wanted to say it once to make sure you have not forgotten about it
I notice that the "Select all vehicles / bots on screen" and "Select all vehicles/bots on planet" commands now exclude your commander and include combat fabricators. Nice. Also +1 for localizing the select all to the planet in view. However, they now exclude anti-air tanks (spinners?). Which is problematic given the strength of T1 bombers in decimating ground forces in the absence of anti-air...
Game info: I played a game today on a custom system, and I found some graphical glitches: System Editor glitches (red dots on the gas giant): In-game glitches: All of these glitches were on a blue gas giant. The first three were without HDR. The last one was after I turned on HDR. Before HDR: With HDR: And here's the GPU usage when playing PA:
Warning : Not directed to people posting here to report bugs I see many people getting upset by bugs. As far as i'm concerned, when i see such bugs occuring, it conforts myselft with the fact that the PA code is really really complex and i feel really confortable to know that Uber and no other indie studio is behind the scene, because frankly, code warriors are really needed to fix such issues
I wanted to watc that too, but the replay list does not contain that LobbyID. Did you mispell it? Or was it moved on the internal replay server for testing debuging purposes?
It was copied directly from the server listings, I didn't wait for it to finish as both commanders were put in orbit of the bugged moon and couldn't land/be-destroyed . I just checked & it's in my replay list. Finding other peoples replays is normally tricky. If your setup for replay url's you could try open the replay here.
Now you no longer need to have replay in list to watch it. Just put ID into search field and then press the button.
The try to laod the replay file via ID into field+play get's me stuck on the "loadign replay file" for minutes. I have to look if hte issue persist with other replays.
Same story for @n00n replay, but I successfully used feature access to replay via search form before and it's basically not any different than mods provided same feature.
I waited on the "server is loading the replay file" screen for 10 minutes (used a stopwatch). A random current build 33 mintues replay needs only 15 seconds to load for me/getting me past the "server is loading replay" stage. So I think we are having a bug here - with replaying n00n's replay number 13805715308086225097 I am persistenly stuck on the "server is loading replay file" step
I just bought the game last night and enjoyed playing it for awhile today. Fun though it is, there are some planet shattering bugs that I'm experiencing. Just today in a couple hours of play I saw 2 kernel panics, 3+ actual game crashes, and 4-5 disconnects in a single-player game. And I had 1 glitch where the UI froze to interaction, but I could still navigate around my planet and my units still attacked the enemy. (I'd have won if I could have told them to advance...) I had to use a hotkey to kill the process just to end the game. I'm on OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion with the latest patches. The system is a late 2012 Mac mini. (No comments about OS X Mavericks please: when I last tried installing it I didn't get a good installer binary and it took my machine down for 3 days straight. Had to reset the system to a backup.)
