Its actually a bit funny. Because they have like one of the best most wellknown voices. Patrick, done many games, including TA. Sniper in TF2.

instead they go for the female, while not bad, leaves much to be desires. Maybe its just me, but i find female voices in games jarring, its like they are there to lure in the little nerd you know, the kid age 10

Well to be fair they'd have to hire him to do all the voices... I'd love it if he did the voices though, as well as a separate pack of his wife's voice. (GLaDOS)

i still like the female announcer and dont find here annoying at all but rather ... calming ...
the only thing they actualy need to fix here announcing stuff during breakes
but i agree on adding a slider for voicesound adjustment

The only thing I dislike is how it keeps bugging you to build storage. SHUSH I DON'T WANNA BUILD STORAGE. EFFICIENCY IS FOR CAPITALIST PIGS.

I think the current announcer emotes way too much for a mindless war machine overseer, it's not present in every line but some do have some awkward emphasise and it really irks me

I'd really love if they added a JPL announcer that you could also choose, but I'd be pretty mad if they made it a DLC thing, he was in the trailer, after all.

I like the advisor. But FYI, I believe the voices are moddable. WPMarshall wants to do some himself IIRC. That would be cool.

I wouldn't mind doing some. Or replacing with signature sound beeps, I have LMMS and there are plenty of unique ones. That also opts making a "blank" sound to disable ones you don't want so you only leave nuke warnings.

That is just what I hear though. I also hear some audio needs special packaging, I wanted to do some musical additions or replacements, maybe do some revererating strings of war out of little fogue.
