Well guys, I'll tell him that. But what's weird is I can connect to like 20 games while he can't get any. He has the required internet speed and I guess I'm not sure.

The lobby works much faster for displaying list of games, joining, and create a new game.

Can you put back my thread title to what it used to be ? "400kB/s to display the list of games"

Because that's a huge problem, I know a friend who can't even join a game with a 220kB/s download bandwidth because it is saturated by the game list download !

I was limiting the download bandwidth to 100kB/s to see what would happen, and when I removed the limitation, the download speed went crazy to 8MB/s, I guess to catch up. So it means if you can't download the current 700kB/s game list you have to pick a game rapidly before everything become outdated !

Did you try the mod that makes it better?

I have the same problem(basically when i click the join button nothing happens, i can see the button being pressed animation then it gets unpressed. I have a 10mb/s connection and i tried both of the mods but no luck

Ok i found the problem. I had planetary annihilation on pte from before, i just switched it off from the properties and it seems to run ok now but i dont have time to do more testing now. I will try again tomorrow with all my mods enabled.
