each time i open the game a white screen comes and it says "pa.exe has stopped working" than it closes i was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem!?
Your OS has never been updated and your graphics driver is FOUR years old I think that's some kind of record. anyways : http://us.download.nvidia.com/GFE/GFEClient/2.1.1.1/GeForce_Experience_v2.1.1.1.exe and run this a bunch of times. It will need to reboot several times, let it. run it until no more updates are proposed. also "NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M" .............................. don't expect much.
THe GT 330M isn't too bad- it should be ok for PA on low settings. One word of advice though, play on *small maps* as you only have 4gb of ram. I would reccomend you try the game on a single planet first (you can create one using the 'system designer' then load it by going 'single player' > 'skirmish' keep the radius of the planet small ish, say 400 to avoid it overloading your machine). If you load a map that is too big, it will have to use disk cache and will be very very slow.
