So I started to play PA again when I saw it was full release. When I started it up this time I only the bar at the bottom with friends and the notifications flag. I can hear the video in the background and I can hear the music, or sounds when I hit F5 or escape. I have looked at work a rounds but can not figure out why the screen is staying black and giving me the menu items or the videos. Attached are my DXdiag and the latest log file. http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/4cp-hd4600gfx Try updating your integrated graphics drivers. In some cases this has solved the issue. Your GeForce drivers are definitely up to date, so if the Intel ones don't fix it, something else is at work.
Ok I will do that, but why do I need to update my intel drivers since I am not using them and have the intel graphics controller turned off in the bios?
I have no clue honestly. It has solved a few cases in the past and we might as well try even the strange things. (I don't really expect those drivers to be the issue, however, I think it's worth a try)
So I did try I re enabled the integrated graphics in the bios windows installed the driver and then I checked it with intels tool and the driver is up to date but its still giving me the same issue.
OK! So, do you have any mods enabled (Should've asked that earlier, oops)? Can you alt + tab into the game from your desktop? How long have you waited for it to show something?
Hello @dricoz, Do you, by any chance, have MSI Afterburner enabled? That caused black screens for most users.
I have it installed but not running I will try disabling riva tunner. That caused an issue with some games once. No I dont have any mods.
