    Dear Uber Devs,

I just learned about a very nice community effort, the "PA STATS" Mod which adds nice statistics and a ladder.
I kindly ask you to add the great mod as a default mod with a patch into the retail game if possible and if it doesnt take too much time to implement).
There might be some bugs, but you could put a dislaimer with a nice warning to inform the pople that its a community effort you made possible and that it is not officially supported by uber.

This would make your already good interaction with the communi*ty even better and raise your reputation in the gaming scene to another level.

Please consider this, I dont see a reason not to look further into this.

I think completely making the PA Stats code part of the PA codebase is not possible, mostly for management reasons.
However once I am finished with a few more tweaks (err actually a full rewrite of the gamesetup code) I am looking to directly talk with Uber about possibilities for them to start promoting the current modding scene, especially under the context of matchmaking.

PA stat's is a great mod I agree. Not sure if it should be included by default as it's more of a preference sort of thing.

There's definitely a lot Uber could do to help promote modding, which promotes their own game a lot. One of the biggest things they could do is enable modded games to show up in the system browser by default.

You did a much better presentation of the idea this time than you did with the other.

PA stats is a really nice and usefull mod, but I think it would just be easier for Uber to implement there own ladders and ranking system.

All I want to say on this matter is that, when an official ladder comes, please please please make sure it ranks ALL games, 5v5 and 2v2v2v2v2 and everything else as well as 1v1 because it's so frustrating when the ladder doesn't reflect all the game modes that you play (and especially the new kinds of game modes that PA brings to the table in the context of the genre, and which you will naturally want to play more). The best player is NOT the one at the top of the 1v1 ladder, as far as I am concerned. There HAS to be a way to rank a player's performance in all possible match formats simultaneously. I am not a math genius, but I am sure Uber has one or two of those on their payroll, so figure this **** out please!

EDIT: Also, a clan ladder pls!

FAF has two ranking systems, an overall one and a 1v1 one. It uses TrueSkill which is a proprietary system from Microsoft. No idea what it costs to licence it though.

The player on #1 of the 1vs1 ladder is supposed to be the best 1vs1 player. He may play not that good in 2vs2.

I like PA stats because you have a very strong chance of getting matched against a skilled opponent who can actually build the economy before rushing nukes =P
