The displayed name keeps reverting back to the steam account id after you change it then enter multiplayer then go back to the main menu , This is really annoying .
Well hello there! Since your reasonably new to the forums, I would like to direct your attention to the sub-forum titled "support". Out of experience, I would also like to recommend you post in the topic that is stickied to the top of the support forum, that has the build's name in the title. The developers read those ones regularly, and if your issue is not fixed by the next build, you can always just pop back and post "issue x still present, please fix." Also, while fixing issues are not dependent in good manners, being nice in general just makes this place a more pleasant one for all of us to visit.
Yes can we please stop making these flamebait threads for every bug? There are dedicated places to report these where they will be addressed sooner. Report the bug on the tracker, post a polite response in support. We don't need fifty snarky threads in general discussion.
Also, we have green name mods. There is no need to even mention this, that is simply taste testing the bait. No, you report it and suggest it moved to the support forum. They will have a reroute to it, they won't even notice it. It is very much in the rules to aggressively moderate topics into their proper catergories or condensing extremely high volume topics across multiple threads.
I already reported the topic- I'm not sure I understand your response? Are you telling me not to inform people of the proper bug reporting procedure?
