When the game hangs on that screen it has problems connecting to the server, make sure your firewall is not blocking PA It can also just be bad luck, sometimes happens to me as well
Wow! Finally it came up. It seems like nothing works, including saving settings when I first start the game. Must just have to leave the game open for 5 minutes to let it warm up.
Your driver is a bit old, maybe go to www.amd.com and get the latest version? I don't think that is your issue however it might improve performance quite a bit
