Well anyways, another reason of proof why we need a ladder ASAP

I'm not quite sure thats the reason he left xD if he wanted a challenge he should have faced some of the other PA players instead of one of his friends who also didn't know how to play like the older players do... (this is from what I saw from watching his stream and watching it with others on teamspeak, It could of changed but I don't think it did)

Ahh well I didn't know the whole story, but he did state Pro players were too good and casuals were crap so he wasn't having fun.

Alright, so a couple minutes of research later, apparently this guy's a self-proclaimed "professional streamer" which sounds really freaking stupid. Judging on how he considers streaming a profession AND how that video showcases him being a grade-A ******* I'd probably intensely dislike this guy.

From what I saw on his past broadcasts it looks like he deleted all of his Planetary Annihilation streams. He hasn't mentioned quitting the game on Twitter, but it looks like he did regardless.

Back in Beta I was so good. I understood the eco, and made even and skilled expansion.

Call me crazy, but I'm not a fan of an eco that is so easy you start out with a factory. That's why I lose 2/3 of my games, if not more.

Yeah it's a harder change, but Im now having my com go:

    Mex,Fac,Fac,Fac,power,power,power....

And it seems to work really well, having fabbers expand and units defend your com becomes a efficient power-factroy builder.

He's got a point there. Right now the game is mostly divided into very new players (who may be completely new to games of this genre), and the regular players who may have been here for months. While there are definitely players for his skill bracket, his chances of finding them in random games probably isn't great.

    EDIT:
Also, for people talking about build orders: I usually go fac>fac>energy>energy>fac>energy>energy>fac for my commander. Leave the mex, AA & radar to my fabbers.

But every game is like that most often at release. :p

I had a good belly laugh at the video at least, so there's that.

But the reason they get better is because of ladders

Not really, ever played an fps? Random people just fight random people and eventually people get better and better.

A ladder wouldn't really be helpful at this time because there are only two groups of players, there really is no middle ground. Players get better by fighting equals or players better than them.

No, this is the difference between conventional releases and early access; there usually isn't a dedicated playerbase prior to release ready to pubstomp newbies. The competitive tag helps in theory, but everyone has a different idea of what 'competitive' is.

I dunno, there always seems to be super amazing players within a week of release of any game and you're always like "How the **** are they so good already, it barely came out!?!"
