You are getting a Ferrari and you are arguing over cup holders. Whoever takes 5 steps back from the whole situation and still talks of "glaring omissions" understand ****-all about videogames.

Wow, condescension much? You do realize there are those who don't have reliable connections, data limits, slow connections, or people who simply find it intolerable to be treated like a pirate every time they play a game that they bought?

When the servers go down to a crawl or stop working altogether your Ferrari stops working. Those must be some pretty important cup holders then huh?

Ferraris stop working all the time. The Italians are infamous for unreliable workmanship.

They still make the best cars in the world.

Then stop wasting your time playing a game clearly designed to be multiplayer solo... I hear civilisation is pretty good.

Wow, hysteria much? I realise that people with shitty internet connections shouldn't try to play online only games, yes.

No you see, Uber is an evil game developer with unlimited personal and financial resources who should have bent over backwards ensuring peripheral edge case features were included instead of delivering a solid core game engine that can be built on for the foreseeable future. /s

Yes because people who live with limited bandwidth = hysteria over always online. Right.

Nah, not "people" in general, just you and the breathlessly angry vocal minority who can't wait a few more weeks for largely peripheral offline mode.

I am locking this thread before people start to kill each other.
I think all arguments have been made anyway. Also I want to make clear I am not trying to shut down all critics or something like that. But facing reality Uber has decided like this and nothing will change that. They surely had good reasons to do so. So let's look into a future where a lot more cool features will be implemented.
