When I press "Join Game", just nothing happens. "Spectate" doesn't work either. I'm on Win7, specs in my signature. I can create lobbies, and it works like it should, but joining doesn't work at all. No (error) message, no loading screen, I just stay in the Multiplayer list.
I'd guess you're on a slow connection, right? To display the list of games takes a bunch of bandwidth (as of posting this list is 715K). If you are patient it will connect after a minute or two (of course it can fill up by then and you will fail to connect). I'd expect Uber to do something about this soon as the list size just keeps getting bigger.
I am getting this as well, checked my bandwidth and PA is using 2.5mb looking for servers. I may be on a slow connection compared to some people but it should be more than enough. 2.6mb down and half mb up. I have given in I have failed to to join a game 15 times in a row. This game was not ready for release.
Since the Faster Server Browser Mod has been cancelled, i wanted to bring this up again. Will there be some fix in the near future? I really want to play a game after some weeks again.
10th January 2015 I have the same issue as described above. It´s just frustrating. Why the **** can´t they just throw the fancy **** out of the game-lobby and focus on the functionality first...
Actually there are a few things you can do now. 1 the faster server browser mod is up on pamm again, installing that should sort the problem 2 uber have an improved server browser available in the pte version of the game, which should be added to the standard build later this month when the patch goes live
